On May 06, 2025, representatives from the Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute located in Almaty Kazakhstan, visited Astronomical Station Vidojevica. The visit was realized as a part of Kazakh-Serbian scientific cooperation agreement. Three observatories in Kazakhstan are operated within the Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute that have several telescopes with the largest one having 1.5m in diameter. The possibilities for collaboration were discussed, especially in terms of telescope hosting and infrastructure. Realization of the visit was supported by the Local Government of the city of Prokuplje.
