Visit of delegates from China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC)
On July 8th, 2023, the delegates from China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) and China Academy of Space Technology (CAST) visited Astronomical Station Vidojevica (ASV), where they were acquainted with the terrain, the present state of infrastructure facilities, observational instrumentation, and plans for future development.
During this 2-hour-long visit, special focus was on the discussion about possibilities for future collaboration, especially regarding the installation of new observational instrumentation on the Vidojevica station. Also, the Chinese delegation presents very impressive CASC achievements: space missions, technology development, capacities, and international collaboration.
